Mary Stride

Nutrition & Wellness Counselor

Mary StrideMy name is Mary Stride, and I am a nutrition and wellness counselor through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. My work with clients focuses on crowding out junky processed addicting foods by adding in whole foods: micronutrient dense plants along with an emphasis on healthy proteins and fats. I teach my clients how to achieve a stable blood sugar, which in turn means stable mood, energy and weight.

My strength as a health coach is understanding the impIn my earlier years I was a competitive gymnast, and later became a ballet dancer. While dancing professionally, I also earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in biology. act of stress, responsibilities, and busy schedules on our health; while devising healthier strategies that focus on individual preferences. When necessary, I incorporate anxiety and stress reduction techniques into my coaching. Personal development tools can really increase success in achieving health goals and other goals as well. It's all connected: how we think, how we plan, the foods we eat, how we move our bodies, and how we feel. Since so much of this is choice, I am here to help you choose the good stuff, on the path to your health.

About me:

In my earlier years I was a competitive gymnast, and later became a ballet dancer. While dancing professionally, I also earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in biology.

My life has been all about movement and physicality, but that also means I have experienced ailments, chronic injuries, as well as anxiety and depression. These challenges fueled me with a passion for health knowledge and natural solutions, which I am now honored to share with you as a certified holistic health counselor.
